K-2 Expedition 2019

The local name of K-2 is Chogori, which in Balti Language means the king of mountains. This is little known in the outside world. It is, therefore, desirable that the present name- K-2-is used. It is, however, desirable to popularize the local name, which so succinctly conveys the hugeness of the mountain.
K-2 has variously been described as “awesome” Killer” and “Savage” Mountain. This is because of the massiveness of its size and unsuccessful attempts made on it by various expedition parties, including Americans, who made quite a few attempts on it. K-2 is a rocky mountain up to 6,000m, beyond which it becomes an ocean of snow. K-2 is situated on the Pak-China border in the mighty Karakorum.

Rash Lake Trek 2019

                                             Rash Peak 5098-M
Rash Phari trek/climb Rash Peak 5098m
Rash Phari means sparkling Lake. It is one of the most recommended treks for those who want to have a first time trekking experience with a life long excitement. We walk on glaciers, through villages to a look at the real life of those living at footsteps of mighty glaciers, along the irrigated terraced fields with the impressive view of the mighty Karakorum Mountains from the summit of Rush Peak 5098m. It is the junction of two famous glaciers of Barpu and Bualter. It is interesting that local legends talk about the gender of these glaciers of being male and female and also about their meeting and birth of the new glaciers. Our trek starts at Hoper, a marvelous valley with green fields and fruit orchards which is also famous for its potato seeds which are exported to other parts of Pakistan especially in Northern Areas. If you have enough skill you can climb Push Peak.
